Job Summary The Green Retro-Fits Business Unit (Business Unit) is a new solutions group within Bovis Lend Lease focused on providing building owners and operators with a service to improve operational efficiency, building utilization and bottom line performance through energy and operational retro-fit solutions while incorporating current financial incentives. This business unit will leverage the larger Bovis business to deliver these solutions.
The Executive will be responsible for establishing the Green Retro-Fits Business Unit (Business Unit) and developing the business plan, processes, solution marketing and resource plans, recruit the necessary resources. As leader, he/she will lead the core Retro-Fit team to coordinate sales and marketing efforts, satisfy clients, deliver quality work, achieve profitability and enhance orderly growth pursuant to the goals and objectives of the Company's mission and vision. Further, the person will work to integrate the Green Retro-Fit business into the broader Bovis operation.
Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop short and long range strategic plans for the Business Unit that establish objectives, define methods of accomplishment and set forth the actions that lead to meeting the objectives that are also consistent with overall Company strategies.
2. In conjunction with the Lend Lease Corporate resources determine the appropriate branding strategy for the Business Unit
3. Identify the required resources to develop the Business Unit and recruit and retain these resources.
4. Identify partners and suppliers as required
5. Serve as the primary sales lead to meet the annual and long-range plans.
6. Lead the development of the necessary business processes required by the Business Unit to be successful
7. Continuously cultivate and maintain positive relationships within Bovis Lend Lease and Lend Lease for lead generation and facilitate the office-wide and company-wide proactive cultivation of relationships.

JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Participate in the on-going development and coordination of training programs to satisfy the educational and developmental needs of the office.
2. Implement the principles of professional management at all levels in the office by maintaining and communicating position descriptions and performance standards through the use of Personal Performance Management (PPM).
3. Actively participate in strategic community and industry activities for the purposes of lead generation and the general visibility of Bovis Lend Lease in the marketplace.
4. Place Bovis Lend Lease’s best overall interest above those of the office.
5. Implement policies and procedures of the Company and office and assure compliance with them.
6. Represent the office in the Management Committee meeting and maintain an information flow between the office and the corporation.
7. Publicly and promptly, recognize excellent performance and reward accordingly.
8. Create and enhance a cooperative working environment that fosters a high level of professionalism, teamwork and employee morale.
9. Manage the operations and maintain fiscal control of the office so that a satisfactory return on investment to the Company is realized without ensuring litigation.
10. Develop at least one individual who can assume the duties and responsibilities described herein.
11. Serve as a champion for Total Quality.
12. Participate in the communication and promotion of Quality at Bovis Lend Lease with clients, suppliers, trade contractors, subcontractors, architects and engineers.
Minimum Requirements 1. Proven ability to launch and grow new businesses, preferably an entrepreneur.
2. 4-year degree in an accredited construction/engineering/real estate related curriculum (BSCE, BSCM, BSAE, etc.) or experience equivalent to a 4-year degree.
3. Twelve years of related experience (real estate development, construction and/or energy systems) and five years of management/supervisory experience.
4. Able to recognize situations/problems, develop alternative solutions and implement decisions compatible with organizational goals.
5. Proven ability to set goals and achieve them.
6. Proven ability to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor activities and projects.
7. Proven ability to work well and motivate people at all organizational levels.
8. Proven ability to create effective, tactful and strategic plans.
9. Excellent oral presentation and written skills.
